For those of you who don’t know the story, here goes:

I spoke at this LGBT* conference a year ago, and handed my business card around to many boothes and interested folks. Since then, I’ve received pretty minimal contacts but enough that I check fairly often.
One time I checked, and there was an email from user “BBNovelty”. I clicked and read the message.
“Hey! I’m ______ and I’m with Butchy Bears Novelty. We saw you at the _______ conference and are interested in having you model for us in our next calendar. It’s a naughty novelty calendar featuring butch women and bears, with slight tasteful nudity, and a variety of themes for the different months (“Mad Men”, disco, cops n robbers, steampunk, etc.) A portfolio is not required or expected since we are contacting you! You would be paid, and receive VIP status at various pride festivals and events.
Please consider us, and call __________ to set up a meeting date!
Thank you!

I replied back to them within the week, with a simple;

“Hello,
Thank you for the offer, it’s quite flattering, but are you aware that I’m 16?
Perhaps in the future.
Thank you.”
