It bothers me when people say that Glinda loved Elphaba but Elphaba didn’t love Glinda because Elphaba was never open about her feelings so you can’t expect her to be romantic and poetic like Glinda. Besides, remember when she’s talking about Nessa to Fiyero? She says all this stuff about how Nessa drives her crazy but of course she loves her. Elphaba’s love is a different kind of love. It is a deep and total devotion that she shows through the sacrifices she makes.
